Bethlehem Incorporation
Update
Exciting Update on
Bethlehem’s
Incorporation Process!
Dear Bethlehem Residents,
I would like to provide an update to the group on Incorporation. Our legal counsel has advised that we require additional time to finalize the necessary processes and protocols to ensure full compliance with North Carolina statutes and rules. Therefore, we have withdrawn our application from the Local Government Commission (LGC) meeting scheduled for tomorrow.
This decision, while delaying our timeline, is crucial to ensure a smooth and successful incorporation process. Our legal team is actively working to develop and refine the required documentation and procedures.
We understand that this delay may cause some concern, and we want to assure you that we are committed to moving forward as efficiently as possible while prioritizing legal compliance.
We will provide regular updates on our progress and anticipate having a revised timeline for resubmitting our application in the coming weeks.
Thank you for your continued patience and support as we navigate this process.
Why Incorporation Matters
By incorporating, Bethlehem residents will have the power to decide where and how we invest in our community. This is a critical step toward preventing high-density zoning, protecting our farmland, and maintaining Bethlehem’s character.
Thank you for your continued support! Please share this update with your neighbors and friends. If you’d like one of our new signs, feel free to reach out.
Together, we are shaping the future of Bethlehem!
